On January 25, 2019, the ACCJC contacted Dr. Daniel Walden, the Superintendent/President of the Victor Valley Community College District, and informed him that our accreditation had been reaffirmed "for the remainder of the cycle", that a Midterm Report is due on March 15, 2021, and that the "institution's next comprehensive review will occur in the spring term of 2024".
In a congratulatory email message to the entire campus, Dr. Walden stated, "Congratulations to all! VVC received a notice of full accreditation. Thanks to all of you for your hard work."
The following PDF documents were provided to the college by the ACCJC, and are available here for your review.
Follow-Up Team Visit
On October 30, 2018, VVC underwent a follow-up review from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). The review was based on the College's continuing evaluation of how well it meets ACCJC's standards as well as numerous team interviews and evaluation of evidence. At the end of the follow-up review period, the College received a verbal, public report of the team's immediate findings. The final evaluation of the College, including ACCJC's recommendations for accreditation, has been received as of January 25, 2019. The letter has been received and is published above for your review.
