VVC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), and is currently conducting an institutional self evaluation to reaffirm its accredited status. In March of 2017, the ACCJC will conduct a site visit according to established practice by sending a team of peers to validate what we report. Until then, the VVC workforce is collaborating diligently to complete an Institutional Self Evaluation Report (ISER) by January, 2017.
This website will be used to disseminate the consultation drafts of the ISER as it evolves over the next few months to enable all campus and community constituents to review and provide feedback.
Any member of the public may contact the ACCJC with questions or concerns about VVC and its accreditation by U.S. Mail or phone using the information below:
ACCJC is a regional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Additional information about accreditation, including the filing of complaints against member institutions, can be found at www.accjc.org.
Each chapter of the current consultation draft of the VVC Institutional Self Evaluation Report (ISER) is available below. To provide your input, please complete and submit this online feedback form.
